2004  spruce/Madagascar rosewood classical

Photos will take a minute to load. Click  on any photo to enlarge.

Madagascar rosewood back (4-piece) and sides; ebony bindings, high gloss French polish finish.

The Italian spruce top with hazelfichte is from the Val di Fiemme, source of spruce used by the violinmakers of Cremona since the time of Stradivarius. The rosette is handmade by me in the Torres style. Note the 20th fret. The rosewood bridge has a 12-hole tie block capped with mother of pearl and a fully-compensated nut and saddle.
