2004 spruce/Indian rosewood classical

This instrument has a straight-grained Italian spruce top paired with back and sides of beautiful almost-black 25-year-old Indian rosewood. It has my traditional-style handmade rosette, golden koa binding, and high-gloss French polish finish on the entire guitar. The sound is big and lush with a particularly silky quality to the notes and a broad color range. It's a very responsive instrument. Scale length is 650 mm and nut width 52.3 mm.

High-gloss French polish finish, cedar neck with comfortable oval profile, and Moorish arch heel cap; peghead back veneered with rare quilted mahogany, Sloane tuners with black real mother-of-pearl buttons.

Ebony headplate with wheat purfling that matches the rosette and butt strip. My rosettes and purflings are handmade exclusively from side-grained wood. I do not use the end-grain "sticks" found on many other guitars.
