PRICING & ORDERING

Guitars are available directly from me or through one of the dealers who represent me. If you are interested in a guitar, please contact me to find out what instruments are currently available or to discuss a custom order. It's valuable for me to speak with you so that I understand your needs, likes and dislikes. I value a personal connection with anyone who will be playing one of my guitars.

PRICES EFFECTIVE APRIL 2008

My current base price is $10,500, which includes a nonrefundable order deposit of $500. This price also includes an allowance of $700 for Rodgers tuning machines of my custom design, now standard. This design is based on a reproduction set I had made by Rodgers to replace machines on a client's 1878 Torres guitar. Click here to see a photo of the reproduction set. Because Rodgers are standard, price may vary according to exchange rate and model chosen.

All three top woods (American or European spruce, Western red cedar) are now available at the base price.

A detailed list of specifications is here.  Alternative back/side woods will add to the price. For example, add $600 and up for Madagascar rosewood, $2000 and up for Brazilian rosewood or African blackwood.

Increases are necessary from time to time, so I cannot guarantee this price for orders for delivery more than a year out. For those orders, the price may have to be adjusted upward; final price will be confirmed before I begin construction.

Guitars are shipped subject to a five-day approval period, if the instrument has standard features. See approval policy here.
