| Cozy and quick hat knitted for my upcoming trip to the northern British Columbia wilderness, where they tell me I'll need it even in early summer. I altered the pattern mainly so as not to have the foldup cuff. I knitted it as written first, but didn't like the way the fold looked, because the pattern has the crown stitches picked up from the wrong side of the cabled band, which looks sloppy. The single layer is warm enough around the ears anyway. | |
